The following awards and fellowships are managed by the Social Ecology Director of Graduate Affairs. Application forms are not available on this website, but are provided with the call for nominations/applications.

- Social Ecology Dean's Mentorship Award
- Offerings Per Year: One (spring)
- Number of Awardees: Varied
- Support: $200 for first-time awardees
- Eligibility: Awardee shows excellence in mentorship (additional eligibility requirements may apply)
- Application Initiator: Faculty members to complete and submit nomination
- Martha Newkirk Award for Excellence in Research by a Graduate Student
- Offerings Per Year: One (spring)
- Number of Awardees: One graduate student (masters or doctoral)
- Support: $1,000 stipend
- Eligibility: Awardee shows excellence in research (additional eligibility requirements may apply)
- Application Initiator: Faculty graduate program advisor to complete and submit nomination
- Social Ecology Dean's Quarterly Fellowship (Doctoral Students)
- Offerings Per Year: Three (fall, winter, & spring)
- Number of Awardees: Varied
- Support: Generally, one quarter of tuition and fees (excluding nonresident student tuition), and a stipend equal to that of a Teaching Assistant salary.
- Please consult with your home department to confirm specifics of support.
- Eligibility: Good academic standing, within normative time (additional eligibility requirements may apply)
- Application Initiator: Students to complete and submit all required documents. Managed by home department/program
